About two years ago, my beloved bicycle was “banished” from the carport and stored under a plastic tarpaulin in the garden. This was supposed to be temporary, until the solar panels that were taking up space in the carport had been installed. This meant that I could no longer take a spontaneous bike ride when the weather was suitable.
After repeated nagging on my part, a solution was found in September 2025 to chain the bike in the carport. But that wasn't the solution for me, as I wasn't experiencing any symptoms yet.
When, after a few days and in good weather, I was able to happily go shopping on my bike two days in a row, I developed a bladder infection 1-2 days later that was unbearable without painkillers. After almost three weeks of trying alternative remedies to find relief, taking antibiotics ended my pain.

Thank you for the lovely report. The bicycle parking area was an important part of her territory. However, it was not regarded as hers and the boundaries were not respected/recognized, so she reacted to this encroachment with SBS of the ectodermal bladder mucosa and/or urethral mucosa.
Since the SBS was active for more than a year and a half and bothered her almost daily, the regeneration phase was also very long and intense.
Experience shows that such long conflict-resolved PCLA phases often last almost exactly three weeks – which in this case coincides with the antibiotic treatment and the (presumed, but perhaps coincidental) decrease in symptoms.
